As the weather warms up, we hope you will join us at Welles for one of our upcoming programs.
Spring bird walks are now scheduled. The Park District program calendar is set and we are working to schedule spring work days and Gazebo concerts for the summer.
You may have seen the Block Club article about the return of the grubs (cue creepy music). While the Park District treats them and reseeds the lawns, we would ask that everyone please stay off of these areas to allow the plants to establish. Any questions should be directed to the Park District.
We are always recruiting new members to the Park Advisory Council and we would welcome those of you that are interested in volunteering in the community to consider coming to our next meeting to see if it is for you. We are always looking for volunteers to help out with events, take the lead on fundraising, support the musicians during concerts, and serve as a representative and a voice for our community.
