Come help us care for one of our city’s most precious resources — our neighborhood park!
Starting in May with It’s Your Park Day and running til it’s a bit too cold out (we sometimes manage to work in November), the Welles Park Advisory Council participates in Pitch In for the Parks, a citywide cleanup campaign sponsored by the Chicago Parks Foundation.
The foundation provides the tools and supplies and all you have to do is show up at 9 a.m. — it’s that easy! We look forward to sharing the morning with you and hope you discover that a morning spent with others caring for our public spaces is a gratifying and fulfilling experience.
