As spring comes to Welles Park, the Welles Park Advisory Council is looking for volunteers for a variety of roles. Welles PAC supports the Park District and organizes work days, special events, and the Tuesday evening Gazebo Concert series. But as volunteers we can always use more help. If you have a few hours to spare, consider volunteering for one of these roles:
+Gazebo Concert Team – We need help during Tuesday night concerts in June and July (and sometimes August). This can include helping the performers or our audio tech during set up, helping schedule and confirm performers, or staffing a table during the concerts.
+Greening Committee – We are looking for more members of the Welles Greening Committee interested in helping arrange workdays, coordinate volunteers, or plan improvements to the Nature Play Area. Interested in gardening? Looking to make a direct impact in the park? This is for you!
+Fundraising and Marketing Team – We are looking for help in communicating to our neighbors through our newsletter, social media, website and email. If you have experience with any of these and are looking to support your community we need you!
+Greening workdays and clean-ups – Greening Committee and other groups help out with clean up events, mulching, and planting days throughout the year. This is the lowest commitment and opportunities will be shared via our newsletter.
