Gazebo concert series returns to Welles Park for 2026

Welles Park Advisory Council brings the Tuesday night music series back to Lincoln Square.

The full concert series is not yet ready to be announced but the first three shows will be:

Wednesday, June 24th, 5-7 pm – Toddlers, Tunes, and Turtles – Join us for this popular Park District program which invites our youngest explorers to visit your park and explore! This outdoor nature program encourages families to enjoy the park together. Join us for live animal interactions, nature scavenger hunts, and music performances from Old Town School of Folk Music. https://www.chicagoparkdistrict.com/events/toddlers-tunes-turtles-welles NOTE – This family-friendly performance takes place on Wednesday.

Tuesday, June 30th, 6:30-8 pm – Tribute to Miles Davis with Nate Harrigan and Ernest Dawkins – The Young Masters Program brings together the next generation of exceptional jazz artists to pay tribute to an American legend.

Tuesday, July 7th, 6:30 – 8 pm – Broadway in Your Backyard with Porchlight Theatre – This popular performance features hits and familiar favorites from Broadway and Hollywood musicals. Featuring special “kids day” activities by members of the Porchlight Education Team, plus a special performance by students from the Chicago Academy of the Arts.
