Turf damage at Welles Park
The Chicago Park District will begin treating the fields decimated by an infestation of grubs on Oct. 28. Fields are expected to reopen for use between late May and June of next year, depending on weather.
WPAC letter to park district, alderman, WPPA
After the special meeting on April 26, the WPAC sent a letter to the park district, alderman and WPPA outlining its priorities regarding the lights proposal.
