The Welles Park Parents Association, the organization that runs our park’s baseball and softball leagues, is proposing the installation of lights at Welles that would allow games to be played later in the evening.
The Welles Park Advisory Council has not taken a position in support or opposition to the project at this time and is seeking input from the community.
The Welles Park Advisory Council, Chicago Park District, 47th Ward office and the Welles Park Parents Association will be hosting an informational webinar and listening session for the community on Saturday, April 10 at 11 a.m.
Please share this information with your neighbors.
WPPA will present details about the proposal, and then community members will have an opportunity to ask questions.
