Welles Park neighbors and area residents who would like to share their thoughts about the WPPA’s proposal to install lights on Welles Park’s baseball and softball fields may continue to do so via our online survey through Monday, April 19.
A list of frequently asked questions has been compiled and a recording of the April 10 presentation has been posted to help form your opinion.
Feedback may also be submitted by:
- Emailing the Welles Park Advisory Council at WellesParkAC@gmail.com.
- Contacting 47th Ward Alderman Matt Martin’s office at michael@aldermanmartin.com or 773-868-4747
- Emailing Welles Park supervisor Becky Kliber at becky.kliber@chicagoparkdistrict.com
- Filling out a paper survey at the Welles Park field house.
In an effort to reach neighbors who do not have access to the internet, paper fliers have been taped to doors of residents and businesses within a two-block area of the park. We encourage everyone to share information about the project and feedback participation with their neighbors.
If you were unable to attend the April 10 community information session, which includes a detailed proposal from the WPPA, you may watch a recording of the session here.
Below is the presentation of the online survey results, collected through Saturday, April 10 at 8 a.m.
